These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase of EternityQR memorial plaques and access to the associated digital memorial page service operated by Soul of Alaska LLC, a limited liability company doing business as EternityQR ("we," "us," "our"), based in Florida, USA. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
EternityQR provides: (a) a laser-engraved 316L stainless steel memorial plaque bearing a permanent QR code; and (b) a digital memorial page accessible by scanning that QR code, hosted at eternityqr.com. Each plaque order includes a unique activation code to create and manage the associated memorial page.
All prices are in USD. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Orders are confirmed by email upon successful payment. We reserve the right to cancel and fully refund any order we are unable to fulfill.
Shipping: Orders ship within 48 hours of placement via USPS Priority Mail or equivalent. Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days within the USA. Tracking information is sent by email upon shipment.
The person who purchases the plaque ("Account Holder") is the administrator of the associated memorial page. The Account Holder controls who may contribute content and may transfer administrative rights to another person at any time through their account settings.
If no admin login is recorded for 36 consecutive months, we will send an ownership transfer notice to the registered family contact email. If no response is received within 90 days, the page becomes read-only until a new admin is established.
You are responsible for all content uploaded to the memorial page. You confirm you have the right to use and publish all photos, recordings, and text submitted. EternityQR is not responsible for user-uploaded content. DMCA takedown requests will be processed within 48 hours.
Your memorial page is hosted for the life of the EternityQR service. The QR code on your plaque will always scan and display the memorial — the page is never deleted or deactivated. In the event EternityQR discontinues service, we commit to 12 months' advance notice and a full data export.
Every order includes 5 full years of memorial page hosting, storage, and editing access from the date of purchase — at no additional charge. During this period, the page is fully active: the Account Holder and Contributors may add, edit, and delete content freely.
After the initial 5-year period, an optional annual maintenance contribution of $1 USD per year allows the Account Holder to continue adding and editing content on the memorial page. We will send reminder emails 60 days and 14 days before the renewal date.
If no renewal payment is made after Year 5, the memorial page is automatically converted to read-only archive mode: the page remains publicly accessible and fully scannable via QR code, but no new content may be added. The archive state is permanent until renewal is received. To reactivate editing access, pay the $1/year fee for the lapsed period plus the current year.
The Account Holder may download a complete export of all memorial page content (photos, audio, text, video) at any time, free of charge, through their account settings. We commit to maintaining this export function for as long as the service operates.
In the event EternityQR ceases operations, we commit to: (a) providing no less than 12 months' advance notice by email to all registered Account Holders; (b) maintaining data export functionality throughout the notice period; and (c) making reasonable efforts to transfer service continuity to a third-party provider. A portion of each order is reserved in a dedicated Perpetual Memorial Fund to support long-term hosting costs.
30-day satisfaction guarantee: If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason within 30 days of delivery, contact us for a full refund. No return of the physical plaque is required for a refund.
Memorial pages are intended for the commemoration of deceased individuals. You may not use the service to post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or in violation of any third party's rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms and, in serious cases, to suspend service without refund.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EternityQR's total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for your order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered Account Holders at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at support@eternityqr.com. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Miami-Dade County, Florida, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

This Privacy Policy describes how EternityQR collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and services.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising. We do not sell your data.
Content you upload to a memorial page (photos, audio, text) is stored securely on our servers. This content is publicly accessible to anyone who scans the QR code on the plaque — this is the intended function of the service. Do not upload content you do not wish to be publicly viewable.
You may delete any content from your memorial page at any time through your account. Full page deletion is available upon request with a 30-day waiting period.

Order information is retained for 7 years for accounting and legal compliance. Memorial page content is retained for as long as the service is active (subject to the Hosting Policy above). Upon full account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days; aggregated, anonymized records may be retained.
You have the right to: request access to your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements); opt out of any future marketing communications at any time; and download a full export of your memorial page content.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
We use cookies for: session management (keeping you logged in), language preference, and analytics (Google Analytics 4). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies from third-party ad networks. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may not function properly as a result.
Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Memorial pages may include information about deceased minors — this content is provided by adult Account Holders who are responsible for its appropriateness.
